MARCUS - MANAGING DIRECTOR
Marcus is a practice accountant with over 30 years experience and a member of the Institute of Financial Accountants. He has undertaken work with a number of organisations both large and small which has provided him with a broad range of skills and understanding. This experience has provided an appreciation of the unique nature of every organisation. He has an extreme wealth of knowledge of financial reporting, its impact on a business, and a proven grasp of the importance of systems and the people that make it all happen.
Having new experiences is important to Marcus as he believes it is essential to continue learning. He spent two and a half years in East Africa with his family engaging in voluntary work and had been a large part of that process.
At the same time as developing his professional career, Marcus has endeavoured to push himself in a disciplined manner by learning to fly small private airplanes. He holds a private pilots licence and is currently training to qualify as a flight instructor!
Marcus also thinks a lot about getting fit and it is something he aspires to!
ALEX - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
Alex is one of the founding partners of the firm and has over 8 years of experience. Coming from a family of accountants, Alex was easily drawn to a career in business.
Alex specialises in the internal financial management of our clients ensuring up to date financial information is delivered. Budgeting and decision-making can then be made to ensure the growth of all of our clients' businesses.
In Alex's spare time, he enjoys competing as an amateur strongman, a passion he shares with our personal training and fitness clients. He also enjoys golfing and touring the UK on his motorcycle.
VISHAL - SENIOR CLIENT MANAGER
Vishal is currently studying ACCA, along with 8 years experience working with practice.
Vishal has worked alongside clients turning over up to £6 million a year.
He has managed his own successful businesses, which is an advantage when offering his expert recommendations to our clients. Our aim is to promote sustainable growth, who better than somebody who has hands on experience!
Vishal says, "The factors that make Parker Whitwood different to other accounting firms in Manchester is that we work closely with clients in order to achieve the best possible outcome, this includes regular meetings and also working on client's sites".
In his spare time, he enjoys keeping fit at his local boxing club and also goes to watch Arsenal matches on weekends. He also plays cricket at a high level and has represented London in the past.
PRISHA - CLIENT ACCOUNTANT
Prisha is currently working towards her AAT qualification and joined our Manchester Accountancy Firm in 2019. Prisha’s interest in accountancy has come from family members teaching her the basics and encouraging her to gain a qualification in accountancy.
Parker Whitwood has allowed Prisha to work closely with clients and enable her to work on-site with numerous clients in order to show a hands on approach and to provide the best possible accounting services for our clients.
Prisha’s other passion is dancing, where she has performed on stage since a very young age, she spends a lot of her weekends teaching children different styles of dance and has made appearances in a number of music videos!
